Carlos Reiss

Carlos Reiss is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned operator with over 40 years of experience in the German insurance and digital distribution sectors. He co-founded Hoesch & Partner, one of Germany’s largest independent insurance brokers, and helped launch multiple platforms including Focus Assetmanagement, PrismaLife and InsuranceCity.

Carlos is the Chairman of Warburg Pincus portfolio company blau direkt and plays an active in identifying and evaluating new investments in the insurance and financial services sector. He also serves on advisory boards across the insurance, insurtech and financial services ecosystem, and lectures on insurance innovation and distribution.
